Meet the President
Dr. Maria Koutelou is the founder and President of the Hellenic Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
In the last 20 years, she holds the position of the Director of Nuclear Medicine Department at Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center, Athens, Greece.
In 1992 she obtained her degree in Medicine, from the University of Athens and followed a specialization in Nuclear Medicine. Following that she completed a post graduate fellowship in Nuclear Medicine at Methodists Hospital, Baylor College, Houston, Texas, USA (1993). In 1996 she was awarded a PhD from University of Athens and in 1997 she has been certified in Nuclear Cardiology at Chicago. The MSc - International MBA at Athens University of Economics and Business has been her most recent degree acquired in 2002.
